Mulled Cider
Jen Patel, ~6 servings
- 1 gal apple cider
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole clove
- 1-2 tsp whole allspice
- pinch or two of grated ginger
- 2 star anise
- juniper berries (optional)
- 1 1/2 oz dark spiced Rum per cup (optional)
Start heating up the cider Zest most of the orange and lemon as possible Juice orange and lemon, optionally reserve a slice or two from each for garnish Add spices, let mull, and enjoy!
